Required Documents For Graduate Registration

Required Documents for Master

  1. Bachelor’s Degree Diploma* (professionally translated into Turkish or English by a certified translation agency)
  2. Bachelor’s Degree Transcript* (showing courses you have taken each term you studied) (professionally translated into Turkish or English by a certified translation agency)
  3. Passport* copy 
  4. Two photos
  5. Acceptable Proficiency Score in Program Language (if any)
  6. ALES, GRE or GMAT Exam Score (if any)
  7. Official Acceptance letter 
  8. Receipt of the first-semester tuition fee payment
  9. Deposit payment receipt (Applicants who are citizens of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India are required to pay the first installment of the program fee as a deposit.)
          *The original document must be presented at the time of registration.

Required Documents for PhD

  1. Bachelor and Master’s Degree Diploma* (professionally translated into Turkish or English by a certified translation agency)
  2. Bachelor and Master’s Degree Transcript* (showing courses you have taken each term you studied) (professionally translated into Turkish or English by a certified translation agency) [Your Master’s Degree MUST BE WITH THESIS if you have graduated after February 6, 2013]
  3. Passport* copy 
  4. Two photos
  5. Acceptable Proficiency Score in Program Language (if any)
  6. ALES, GRE or GMAT Exam Score (if any)
  7. Official Acceptance letter 
  8. Receipt of the first-semester tuition fee payment

For Turkish Master and PHD Programs

  • B2 TOMER Certificate

For English PHD* programs

  • TOEFL-IBT: 84 (valid two years)
  • YDS: 70 (valid three years)
  • CAE: B
  • CPE:C
  • PTE Akademik: 71 (valis two years)

Important Notes

  • Students who can’t submit an English Proficiency Certificate have to take the English Proficiency Exam of Istanbul Ticaret University.*
  • The applicants who pass the exam can begin their studies. If applicants fail to pass the English Proficiency Exam and/or cannot submit any valid English test score, they can study at the English Preparatory School at the university.*
  • If the document is issued in languages apart from Turkish or English, it must be professionally translated into Turkish or English by a certified translation agency.
  • The students, who completed their high school, undergraduate and/or Master’s degree in Turkish, do not need to proof any Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate.
  • The students, who completed their high school, undergraduate and/or Master’s degree in English, do not need to proof any English Language Proficiency Certificate.
  • Candidates who have received their acceptance letter have a Foreigner’s Identity Number, but are unable to attend registration in person, can register with a second party using a power of attorney. Powers of attorney not issued by the authorities of the Republic of Turkey must be apostilled in the country where the power of attorney is issued and officially translated into Turkish for validity.
  • Candidates who have not yet entered Turkey and do not have a Foreign Identity Number cannot register with a power of attorney.
  • Students holding a student residence permit in Türkiye will lose their legal stay rights if their registration is cancelled. Therefore, within 10 (ten) days from the date of cancellation, they must either transfer to another type of residence permit or leave the country.Before applying to our University, it is important that you verify whether you have a valid legal stay in Türkiye, taking into account that registrations can only be made during the period of legal stay.

*The students of PhD programs are required to submit a national or international exam result except in their native language which is accepted by YÖK (even if they studied at the English/Turkish Preparatory School and passed the English/Turkish Proficiency Exam) before entering the qualifying exam.
